The <br />formally approved this document April 25. <br /> <br />to forward <br />Development <br />Commission <br /> <br />The Commission began review of this ordinance last October and was <br />careful to make sure that the Ordinance <br /> <br />A. provides the appropriate. level of development regulation <br />to permit the City to maintain the integrity of its new <br />Comprehensive Plan; <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />modernizes development regulation in the City <br />replacing the 1964 Subdivision Ordinance with <br />ordinance which updates the subdivision regulations <br />incorporates the Site Plan requirements used by the <br />for several years; . <br /> <br />by <br />an <br />and <br />City <br /> <br />C. clearly guides developers through the City's process for <br />review and approval of proposed dev6lopments. <br /> <br />The Commission .reviewed the ordinance over a dozen or more open <br />meetings and solicited detailed comment from a number of citizens <br />from the local development community, as well as from our <br />consultants. Their comments have been carefully considered and <br />are reflected in the draft you now have before you. <br />
