<br />., . <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1449 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE RE-APPOINTING MEMBERS TO POSITION 2 & 3 OF THE <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION FOR' THE CITY OF LA PORTE, FOR <br />THE TERM EXP-IRING APRIL 30, 1987 <br /> <br />Section l~ The City Council of. the City of La Porte hereby <br /> <br />appoints EDWARD MURPHREE 'as the Member to Position 2, and JANET <br /> <br />GRAVES as the Member to Position 3, of the City of La Porte <br /> <br />Planning and Zoning Commission, for the term beginning May 1, <br /> <br />1985, and ending on April 30, 1987, or until their successors <br /> <br />shall have been appointed and qualified. <br /> <br />Section 2. All ordinances or parts of o~dinances in conflict <br /> <br />herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict only. <br /> <br />Section 3. The City Council ,officially finds, determines, <br /> <br />recites and declares that a sufficient written notice of the date, <br /> <br />hour, place and subject of this meeting of the City Council was <br /> <br />posted at a place convenient to the public at the City Hall of <br /> <br />the City for the time required by law preceding this meeting, as <br /> <br />required by the Open Meetings Law, Article 6252-17, Texas Revised <br /> <br />Civic Statutes Annotated; and that this meeting has been open <br /> <br />to the public as required by fuaw at all times during which this <br /> <br />ordinance and the subject matter thereof has been discussed, <br /> <br />considered and formally acted upon. The City Council further <br /> <br />ratifies, approves and confirms such written notice and the <br /> <br />contents and posting,hereof. <br /> <br />Section 4.
