e e additional revenue bonds which may be secured by and made payable from the same revenues as, and be on a parity and of equal dignity in all respects with, the Bonds. IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED, RECITED AND REPRESENTED that the issuance of this Bond, and the series of which it is a part, is duly authorized by law; that all acts, con- ditions and things required to exist and be done precedent to and in the issuance of the Bonds to render the same lawful and valid have been properly done and performed and have happened in regular and due time, form and manner, as required by law; and that the interest on and principal of this Bond and the Bonds are on a parity with each other and of equal dignity in all respects, are payable solely from and secured by a first lien on and pledge of the revenues of the combined Waterworks and Sewer System of the City, after deduction of necessary and reasonable operating and mainte- nance expenses.
