Coordinate search and rescue activities of all <br />departments in emergencies. <br />b. Maintain a reserve pool of manpower and equipment for <br />rescue purposes. _ <br /> <br />Refer to the Radiological Defense Service Annex for additional <br />information. <br /> <br />19. Evacuation <br /> <br />Emerlency Mlt.Coordinator <br /> <br />Primary Tasks: <br />a. Define responsibilities of city/county departments and <br />private sector groups. <br />b. Identify high hazard areas and number of potential <br />evacuees. <br />c. Coordiante evacuation planning to include: <br />(1) Movement control. <br />(2) Health/medical requirements <br />(3) Transportation needs <br />(4) EPI. materials <br />d. Prepare and maintain Annex E(Evacuation) to this plan <br />and supporting Standing Operating Procedures (SOP's) <br /> <br />20. Other Agencies <br /> <br />All department and agency heads not assigned a specific <br />function in this plan will be prepared to make their <br />resources available for emergency duty at the direction of <br />the city manager. <br /> <br />SECTION VI. INCREASED READINESS ACTIONS FOR VARIOUS CONDITIONS <br /> <br />A. Condition 4: The term "Condition 4" will be used by <br />emergency services personnel to refer to a situation which <br />causes a higher degree of disaster possibility than is <br />normally present. "Condition 4" actions would be triggered <br />by such occurrences at the beginning of tornado season, <br />hurricane season fire threats due to severe drought, and so <br />forth. <br /> <br />A condition 4 will cause <br />Coord inator to initiate the <br />checklist. <br /> <br />the Emergency Management <br />general increased readiness <br /> <br />B. Condition ~: The term "Condition 3" will be used by <br />emergency services personnel to identify a situation which <br />presents a greater potential threat than "Condition 4", but <br />no immediate threat to life or property. "Condition 3" <br />might be generated by such events as the issuance of a <br />tornado watch, severe thunderstorm watch, flash flood <br />watch, hurricane watch, or by the presence of a hazardous <br />material in transit through town by rail or truck. <br />
