AND P'ROVIDING' AN 'EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE: . . Section 1. The City Council of the City of La Porte hereby appoints 131 ))IJ}/ 5'/(B-T~II' ,one of its members, to serve as Mayor Pro Tem of the City of La Porte, for the term May 1, 1986, through April 30, 1987, and until his successor shall have been duly appointed and have qualified.
