<br />. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />-15- <br /> <br />Rest Home or Nursing Home: A private home for the care of the aged or <br />infirmed or a place of rest for those suffering bodily disorders. Such <br />homes do not contain facilities for surgical care or the treatment of <br />disease or injury. <br /> <br />Roofline: The height above finished grade of the upper beam, rafter, <br />ridge or purlin of any buiding. <br /> <br />Semi-Trailer: Every vehicle, with or without motive power, other than a <br />pole trailer or ranch trailer, designed for carrying persons or property <br />and for being drawn by a motor vehicle and so constructed that some part <br />of its weight and that of its load rests upon or is carried by another <br />vehicle. <br /> <br />Setback Line: The closest point to any property line or utility <br />easement which may be occupied by a structure. <br /> <br />Setback, Sign Measurement: The closest point to any property line which <br />may be occupied by any sign, as defined by this Ordinance. This point <br />shall be determined by measuring perpendicularly from adjacent property <br />lines. <br /> <br />Shipping Containers: Sealable shipping containers, designed for <br />intermodal transportation, either with or without a permanent affixed <br />chassis, used in intrastate, interstate and international commerce for <br />the shipment of goods and merchandise. <br /> <br />Shipping containers may be converted for use as buildings subject to <br />the following conditions: <br />(1) Shipping containers may be used as accessory buidings only. <br />(2) In all zones except Heavy Industrial, shipping containers <br />used as accessory buildings shall be screened from public <br />view. <br />(3) Any shipping container used as an accessory building shall <br />be subject to all requirements and restrictions of the <br />zone in which it is located. <br /> <br />Shopping Center or Integrated Development: <br />two (2) or more interrelated business <br />driveways and on-site parking facilities. <br /> <br />Sight Triangle: Triangular shaped area of clear visibility located at <br />all intersections including private driveways. The area of the triangle <br />shall be determined by engineering standards. <br /> <br />A development consisting of <br />establishments using common <br /> <br />Single Family Residential Large Lot: Any single tract or lot <br />comprised of at least 43,560 square feet of property, located in R-1 <br />zone, whose primary use is for a single family dwelling unit. <br /> <br />Site Area Per Unit: The total area, including public and private <br />streets, for a proposed development divided by the total number of units <br />proposed. Used to determine the maximum density permitted for a <br />development. <br />
