Rear Yards Onlv: An unenclosed, attached patio cover, <br />awning, or canopy, provided that no portion of said patio <br />covers, awnings, or canopies shall encroach into any <br />utility easements, or any vertical projection thereof, <br />and provided further that no portion of said patio covers, <br />awnings, or canopies shall be located at a distance less <br />than five feet (5') from the, side property line or three <br />feet (3') from the rear property line, or any vertical <br />projection thereof. <br /> <br />10' - 402 Height ReQuirements <br /> <br />The building height limits established in this Ordinance for <br />distances shall not apply to the following except if they are <br />located within an airport height restriction area: <br /> <br />1. Belfries; <br />2. Chimneys or flues; <br />3. Church spires, not exceeding twenty feet (20') above roof; <br />4. Cooling towers; <br />5. Cupolas and domes which do not contain usable space; <br />6. Elevator penthouses; <br />7. Flag poles; <br />8. Monuments; <br />9. Parapet walls extending not more than three feet (3') <br />above the limiting height of the building; <br />10. Water towers; <br />11. Poles, towers, and other structures for essential services <br />12. Necessary mechanical and electrical appurtenances; <br />13. Television and radio antennas not exceeding twenty feet <br />(20') above roof; <br />14. Wind electrical generating equipment. <br /> <br />10 - 403 Exterior Storage <br /> <br />In residential zones, all materials and equipment shall be <br />stored within a building or fully screened so as not to be <br />visible from adjoining properties, except for the following: <br /> <br />1. Clothes line poles and wires; <br />2. Construction and landscaping material currently being <br />used on the premises; ~- <br />3. Off-street parking of passenger vehicles and light trucks, <br />as defined in this Ordinance; <br />4. Firewood, compost, or residential lawn and garden tools. <br />
