The security charge will be the City's actual <br /> <br />cost and will be in addition to the rental rate. <br /> <br />section 40 <br /> <br />Reservations for use of the Arena may be made <br /> <br />either by phone or in person at the Parks and Recreation <br />Administration office or any other place that may be designated <br /> <br />from time to time. <br /> <br />Reservations must be accompanied by a <br /> <br />Reservation and Damage Deposit of $100.00. <br /> <br />The Reservation and <br /> <br />Damage Deposit will reserve the facility for the Lessee until <br /> <br />rental payments are made and will provide protection to the Lessor <br /> <br />for any damage to the Arena caused by Lessee. Rental payment and <br />security deposit shall be paid in full no later than fourteen (14) <br /> <br />days prior to the event. The Reservation and Damage Deposit will <br /> <br />be refunded to the Lessee within fifteen (15) days after the event, <br /> <br />less any deductions for damages incurred. <br /> <br />section 50 <br /> <br />Rental dates that are cancelled shall provide <br /> <br />written notice of the cancellation to the City at least two (2) <br /> <br />weeks prior to reservation date in order to receive a full refund. <br /> <br />section 6. Rental of the Arena will be subject to reasonable <br />rules and regulations, which shall be promulgated by the Director <br /> <br />of Parks and Recreation or his designee, with the approval of the <br /> <br />City Manager. The City of La Porte reserves the right to refuse <br /> <br />rental of the Arena to any person, firm, or group, for lewd or <br /> <br />immoral purposes, or when the activities of such group may <br /> <br />reasonably be expected to result in a breach of the peace, or cause <br /> <br />a threat to public health or safety. <br /> <br />section 7. The Arena may be used by the general public when <br /> <br />rentals are not scheduled. <br /> <br />section 8. The Parks and Recreation Director or his designee <br />
