Based upon the foregoing findings of fact, and in <br />accordance with the revised General Plan for Glen Meadows <br />Subdivision, and further in accordance with the Comprehensive Plan <br />of the City of La Porte, and in consideration of the benefits to be <br />derived by the citizens of the City of La Porte in the preservation <br />of the existing and proposed aerial easements for the City of La <br />Porte Municipal Airport; the extension of the right-of-way for <br />Farrington Boulevard; and the increase of the Glen Meadows <br />Subdivision public land dedication from 4.9026 acres to 8.13 acres, <br />the city Council of the City of La Porte, subject only to the final <br />approval of the application for the partial replat of Glen Meadows, <br />section 2, by the City of La Porte Planning and Zoning Commission, <br />hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute and deliver to Glen <br />Meadows Partners, and the City Secretary for purposes of <br />attestation of the execution, of a Special Warranty Deed in form <br />attached hereto as Exhibit "A", and incorporated by reference <br />herein for all purposes. <br />section 3. The city Council officially finds, determines, <br />recites, and declares that a sufficient written notice of the date, <br />hour, place and subject of this meeting of the City Council was <br />posted at a place convenient to the public at the City Hall of the <br />ci ty for the time required by law preceding this meeting, as <br />required by the Open Meetings Law, Chapter 551, Texas Government <br />Code; and that this meeting has been open to the public as required <br />by law at all times during which this ordinance and the subject <br />matter thereof has been discussed, considered and formally acted <br />upon. The City Council further ratifies, approves and confirms <br />such written notice and the contents and posting thereof. <br />
