BAUGH, 'lI:4~J{l1:~ ~ AS MANAGER OF THE LA PORTE MUNICIPAL AIR PORT,. CITY OF LA PORTE, TEA:AS: AUTHORIZING REIMBURSEMENT FOR ALL EXPENSES INCURRED D'i BEHALF OF SAID AIR PORT UPON DULY AUTHENTICATED RECEIPTS BEING PRE- S~JTED TO AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AND PROVIDING FOR NO SALARY FOR SAID SERVICES. WHEREAS, there has been an ever increasing demand for daily attention to vaious administrative functions pertaining to the operation and maintenance of the La Porte Municipal Airport and as a result thereof, there exists a necessity for a responsible individual to be in charge of such affairs; ~~AS, the City Council has given thorough consideration to the selection of an individual to perform the aforesaid duties and upon motion by Wm. P. Jones, duly seconded by James S. Crate, Jr. and car- ried by unanimous vote, the office of Manager of said airport was created; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, subject to the acceptance of the appointment herewith proffered, that the said WILLIAM H. BAUGH be and is hereby appointed to the office of Manager of said airport, to serve in such capacity until the expiration of the term of office of this admini- stration or until such office is terminated by proper action of the City Council; such services to be without compensation, but the said William H. Baugh to be reimbursed for all expenses incurred in behalf of the office upon presentation to and approval by the City Council of duly authenticated receipts; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the said William H. Baugh, in the capacity aforesaid, shall be vested 'With the authority to cause to be done any and all acts necessar,y to the economical and ordinary administration in the preservation, maintenance and operation of the airport and its facili- ties and specifically, but not necessarily limited to, shall have the authority to administ~r the following functions: (1) To establish and maintain liaison between any and all tenants, lessees or others who hold an interest in said airport or a portion thereof or who wish to acquire any interest therein. jJIo.":~;.ii. :' ""1"[.;. ::.1...:..."'"
