. e DECRETO NO. 96-2090 UN DECRETO QUE ORDENA LA ELECCION REGULAR ANUAL DE LA CIUDAD DE LA PORTE; ORDENA ELECCIONES FINALES CUANDO SEA NECESARIO; DESIGNANDO LOS DISTRITOS ELECTORALES Y LUGARES DE VOTACION; PROVEE PARA EL usa DE MAQUINAS DE VOTACION; NOMBRA OFICIALES DE LA ELECCION; PROVEE MEDIOS Y FECHAS PARA VOTACION TEMPRANA; PROVEE UNA PIZARRA DONDE SE ANUNCIE LOS RESULTADOS DE LAS VOTACIONES TEMPRANAS; PROVEE LOS RESULTADOS E INTERPRETACION DE LOS VOTOS DE DICHA ELECCION; PROVEE NOTIFICACIONES; PROVEE FECHAS LIMITES Y COSTO DE REGISTRO DE CANDIDATOS; PROVEE UNA CLAUSULA DE AHORRO; ASEGURA EL CUMPLIMIENTO CON LA LEY DE ASAMBLEA DE LmRE ACCESO; Y PROVEE LA FECHA EN LA CUAL TENDRA EFECTO. SEA DECRETADO POR EL CONSEJO MUNICIPAL DE LA CIUDAD DE LA PORTE: Seccion 1. Una eleccion se llevara a cabo dentro de los limites incorporados de la ciudad de La Porte, Texas, el 4 de Mayo de 1996, dicho dia siendo el primer Sabado de Mayo de 1996, entre las siete de la manana (7:00 A.M.) y las siete de la noche (7:00 P.M.); con el proposito de elegir los siguientes funcionarios de la Ciudad: Consejero Municipal General - Posicion B, por un termino de 3 anos Consejero - Distrito 1, por un termino de 3 anos Consejero - Distrito 6, por un termino de 3 anos Si es necesario, elecciones finales se llevaran acabo ell de Junio de 1996, durante !as mismas horas. Seccion 2. Dichas elecciones seran llevadas a cabo en los siguientes lugares de vota.ciones de dicha ciudad, y las siguientes personas son nombradas oficiales de dicha eleccion, es decir: Distrito Electoral # I Lugar de Vota.cion: Lomax Elementary School 10615 North Avenue "L" La Porte, Texas 77571 Limites: Comenzando en la interseccion de los rieles del tren Southern Pacific y Spencer Highway (la calle West Main); Desde alli al oeste, a 10 largo de la Spencer Highway (la calle West Main) a Biq Island Slough; Desde alIi al norte, a 10 largo de sobre Big Island Slough allimite norte de la Subdivicion de Creekmont;
