<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 96- 2110 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE GRAN'l'ING A LICENSE TO BRUCE ANGEL FOR USE OF THE <br />SURFACE OF THE WEST FORTY FEET (W.40') OF BLOCK 1094, TOWN OF LA <br />PORTE, BARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS; RETAINING PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENTS; <br />PROVIDING TERNS AND CONDITIONS OF SUCH LICENSE; FINDING COMPLIANCE <br />WITH THE OPEN MEETINGS LAW; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE: <br /> <br />section 10 Subject to the terms and provisions hereof, and <br /> <br />under and by virtue of the power granted to the City of La Porte <br />under its Home Rule Charter and Chapter 13, Title 28, Article 1175 <br />of the Revised civil statutes of Texas, 1925, the City of La Porte <br /> <br />hereby grants a license to Bruce Angel for the use of the surface <br /> <br />of the hereinafter described property in the City of La Porte, to- <br /> <br />wit: <br /> <br />The west forty feet (W.40') of Lots Eight (8) through <br />sixteen (16) both inclusive, and the west forty feet <br />(W.40') of the adjoining south twelve feet (S.12') of Lot <br />Seven, all in Block One Thousand Ninety-six (1094), Town <br />of La Porte, Harris County, Texas. <br /> <br />section 2. The term of this license shall be for so long as <br /> <br />Bruce Angel, his successors and assigns, operates a lawful business <br /> <br />on Block One Thousand Ninety-four (1094), Town of La Porte, Harris <br /> <br />County, Texas, or until the City of La Porte notifies Bruce Angel, <br /> <br />his successors and assigns, by six (6) months written notice, to <br />vacate said property, and to remove, at no cost to the City of La <br /> <br />Porte, any and all improvements placed on the property, all within <br />six (6) months of the date of the mailing of said notice by the <br />City of La Porte. <br /> <br />section 3. As consideration for this license agreement, Bruce <br /> <br />Angel, his successors and assigns, shall have exclusive right of <br /> <br />use of the surface of the property, for dri veways, lighting <br />
