<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />.1 The total quantity of water delivered during the preceding period (usually a calendar <br /> <br />month) as reflected by the totalizer, converted to gallons per minute; <br /> <br />.2 High, low, and intermediate rates of flow in the now range, as reflected by the flow <br /> <br />recording devices; or <br /> <br />.3 A WW A-specified test flow rates for that size and type of meter. <br /> <br />3.14 Check Meters <br /> <br />Participants may, at their option and expense, install and op~rate check meters, but all official <br /> <br />measurements of water shall be made by the Managing Participant's measuring equipment, except <br /> <br />in cases of specific written consent to the contrary by the Managing Participant Director. Check <br /> <br />meters must be installed in such a manner that they do not interfere with the accuracy of the <br /> <br />measuring equipment at the Point of Delivery. <br /> <br />3.15 Back flow Prevention <br /> <br />Each Participant (except the Managing Participant) shall install and maintain an air <br /> <br />gap or back flow prevention assemblies downstream from its Point of Delivery as required by the <br /> <br />Managing Participant Director. Participants must demonstrate that the back flow prevention <br /> <br />assemblies successfully pass testing once each calendar year. Testers must be accredited by the <br /> <br />Texas Natural Resource Conservation- Commission or other state regulatory authority having <br /> <br />jurisdiction. <br /> <br />A:\EWB1097S.RVI <br />L.O.
