INVOICING AND PAYMENT <br /> <br />ProCessional Fee <br /> <br />The professional fee for the scope of service described above shall be performed for a flat <br />fee of~ not including out-of-pocket expenses. <br />.$ 10; 000 <br />Reimbursable Expenses <br /> <br />In addition to the professional fee, actual expenses will be billed, including but not limited <br />to prints and reproductions, graphics, art supplies, postage, deliveries, long distance <br />telephone calls, parking fees, travel and lodging, and public notices. Automobile use <br />directly attributable to this project will be charged at the current Internal Revenue Service <br />(IRS) rate. The Consultants will make every effort to keep reimbursable expenses at a <br />minimum. The Consultant shall keep a full and documented accounting of all funds <br />expended with receipts. Reimbursable expenses shall not exceed $2,000 without further <br />authorization. <br /> <br />Invoicing <br /> <br />The Consultant will invoice the Client for $2,500 upon acceptance ofthis contract. <br />Reimbursable expenses will be billed monthly. Final payment of$7,500 plus all <br />outstanding expenses will be invoiced upon approval of the Neighborhood Plan by the <br />Client. <br /> <br />III. ANTICIPATED LENGTH OF PROJECT <br /> <br />It is anticipated that this project will be completed within 120 days from acceptance of this <br />contract agreement. The project may be extended and the scope expanded by mutual <br />agreement of both parties. <br /> <br />IV. GENERAL TERMS <br /> <br />Hawes Hill & Patterson Consultants shall conduct itself in a professional manner when <br />representing the Client and shall make every effort to conduct the business affairs of the <br />Client in a timely manner. <br /> <br />V. TERMINATION <br /> <br />Either party may terminate this agreement by giving a thirty (30) day written notice. If <br />this agreement is terminated, the Consultants shall be paid for all work performed up to <br />the date of termination based on a pro-rated schedule as determined by the Client. <br /> <br />Northside Community - LaPorte, Texas <br />Hawes Hill & Patterson Consultants <br />July 9, 1999 <br /> <br />3 <br />
