<br />e <br /> <br />PUBLISHERS AFFIDAVIT <br /> <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Notice is hereby given that a public <br />hearing will be held before the City Council <br />of the City of La Porte, City Hall, 604 West <br />Fairmont Parkway, La Porte, Texas, <br />beginning at 6:00 P.M. on Monday, <br />September 28, 1998, at which public <br />hearing interested person shall be entitled <br />to speak and present evidence for or against <br />the designation of PPG Industries <br />Reinvestment Zone, pursuant to Chapter <br />312, Texas Tax Code, as amended. The legal <br />description of the property to comprise the <br />proposed reinvestment zone is as follows, <br />lo-wit: <br /> <br />Being a 3.3 acre tract; a 1.13 acre; a 0.11 <br />acre tract, and connecting strips of land, <br />all out of the PPG 32.29 acre tract located <br />between South 16th SIreet and the <br />Southern Pacific Railroad, and between West <br />OF' Street and Fairmant Parkway, in the Town <br />of La Porte, a subdivision in Harris County, <br />Texas, according to the map recorded in <br />Volume 58 at Page 460, et seq, of the Harris <br />County Deed Records. <br /> <br />A plat of said property is available for <br />inspection in the City Secretary's office. <br /> <br />MARTHA A.
