<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 98-2235 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE ELECTION HELD IN THE CITY <br />OF LA PORTE ON MAY 2, 1998, FOR THE ELECTION OF COUNCILPERSON AT <br />LARGE, POSITION A; COUNCILPERSON DISTRICT ..; AND COUNCILPERSON <br />DISTRICT 5; FINDING COMPLIANCE WITH THE OPEN MEETINGS LAW; AND <br />PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there was held in the City of La Porte on the 2nd day <br /> <br />of May, 1998, an election for the purpose of electing <br /> <br />Councilperson at Large, position A; Councilperson District 4; and <br /> <br />Councilperson District 5; all in accordance with Section 8.10 of <br /> <br />the Home Rule Charter of the City of La Porte; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there were cast at said election for the following <br /> <br />listed persons the number of votes opposite their respective names: <br /> <br />COUNCILPERSON-AT-LARGE--POSITION A <br /> <br />Bruce E.
