<br />o R ~ G ! f\ 1, ;~, I. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />DECRETO NO. 98- 221g-A <br /> <br />PAR ENMENDAR UN DECRETO QUE ORDENA LA ELECCION REGULAR ANUAL DE LA <br />CIUDAD DE LA PORTE; ORDENA ELECCIONES FINALES CUANDO SEA NECESARIO; <br />DESIGNANDO LOS DISTRITOS ELECTORALES Y LUGARES DE VOTACION; PROVEE <br />PARA EL USO DE MAQUINAS DE VOTACION; NOMBRA OFICIALES DE LA ELECCION; <br />PROVEE MEDIOS Y FECHAS PARA VOTACION TEMPRANA; PROVEE UNA PIZARRA <br />DONDE SE ANUNCIE LOS RESULTADOS DE LAS VOTACIONES TEMPRANAS; PROVEE <br />LOS RESULTADOS E INTERPRETACION DE LOS VOTOS DE DICHA ELECCION; <br />PROVEE NOTIFICATIONES; PROVEE FECHAS LIMITES Y COSTO DE REGISTRO DE <br />CANDIDATOS; PROVEE UNA CLAUSULA DE AHORRO; ASEGURA EL CUMPLIMIENTO <br />CON LA LEY DE ASAMBLEA DE LmRE ACCESO; Y PROVEE LA FECHA EN LA CUAL <br />TENDRA EFECTO. <br /> <br />SEA DECRETADO POR EL CONSEJO MUNICIPAL DE LA CIUDAD DE LA PORTE: <br /> <br />Seccion 1. Una eleccion se lIevara a cabo dentro de los Iimites incorporados de la ciudad de La <br />Porte, Tejas, el 2 de Mayo de 1998, dicho dia siendo el primer Sabado de Mayo de 1998, entre las <br />siete de la manana (7:00A.M.) y las siete de la Buche (7:00P.M.); con el proposito de elegir los <br />siguientes Cuncionarios de la Ciudad: <br /> <br />Consejero Municnpal General- Puesto A, por un termino de 3 anos <br /> <br />Consejero - Distrito 4, por un termino de 3 anos <br /> <br />Consejero - Distrito 5, por un termino de 3 anos <br /> <br />Si es necesario, elecciones finales se lIevaran acabo el 30 de Mayo de 1998, durante las mismas <br />horas. <br /> <br />Seccion 2. Dichas eleccions seran lIevadas a cabo en los siguientes lugares de votaciones de dicha <br />ciudad, y las siguientes personas son nom bradas oficiales de dicha eleccion, es decir: <br /> <br />Distrito Electoral # 1 <br /> <br />Lugar de V otacion: Lomax Elementary School <br />10615 North Avenue "L" <br />La Porte, Texas 77571 . <br /> <br />Limites: <br /> <br />Comenzando en la interseccion de los rieles del tren Southern Pacific y Spencer Highway (la calle <br />West ~lain); <br /> <br />Desde alii al oeste, a 10 largo de la Spencer Highway (Ia calle West ~Iain) a Big Island Slough; <br /> <br />Desde alii al norte, a 10 largo de sobre Big Island Slough allimite norte de la Subdivicion de <br />Creekmont; <br />
