When not located in alleys having a width of not less than 20 feet, the <br />location and lo1idth of other necessary utility easements shall be <br />determined by the public and private utility companies and shall con- <br />nect with easements established in adjoining properties. Each ease- <br />ment shall be shown on the plat and appropriately dedicated and in <br />no event shall be less than 10 feet in width. <br /> <br />2. There also shall be shm~ on the plat and dedicated for utilities un- <br />obstructed aerial easements and guy wire easements as shall be re- <br />quired by the City Council. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Easements as set forth in any applicable city, county, or regional plan <br />for the location of future sewerage or utility facilities shall be pro- <br />vided and indicated upon the plat. <br /> <br />,~ <br /> <br />'f , <br /> <br />SECTIOl~ 4 ~ BLOCKS AND LOTS: <br />A. BLOCK LENGTH: <br /> <br />1. l-'Jaximum block length for single-family residential development shall be <br />1,400 feet, measured along the center of the block, when the lots are the <br />minimum required area of 7-,.500 square feet. If the lots are larger than <br />7,500 square feet minimum, the block length shall be reasonable but shall <br />not exceed 2,000 feet. <br /> <br />2. ~laximum block length along a major thoroughfare, railroad, body of water, <br />or similar barrier shall be 2,300 feet, except under special conditions <br />and upon approval by the City Council. <br /> <br />-13- <br />
