<br /> <br />e. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br /> <br />. "Additional Services" shall only be performed when directed by the City to CM!. These <br />services are not considered normal or customary engineering services. <br /> <br />. Services resulting from significant changes in the extent of the Project or its design including <br />but not limited to changes in size, complexity, the City's schedule, or character of <br />construction or method of financingj and revising previously accepted studies, reports design <br />documents or Contract Documents when such revisions are due to causes beyond CMI's <br />control. <br /> <br />. Preparing documents for alternate bids requested by the City or documents for out of <br />sequence work. <br /> <br />. Preparing to serve or serving as a consultant or witness for the City in any litigation, public <br />hearing or other legal or administrative proceeding involving the Project. <br /> <br />. Additional or extended services during construction made necessary by (1) work damaged by <br />fire or other cause during construction, (2) a significant amount of defective or neglected <br />work of Contractor(s), (3) prolongation of the construction contract time, (4) acceleration of <br />the progress schedule involving services beyond normal working hours and (5) default of <br />contractor . <br /> <br />CMI will endeavor to apprise the City of any potential additional or extended services which <br />may result from the above listed 5 items, prior to CMI's expenditure of time on such services. <br />As previously noted, any such extended or additional services shall only be performed when <br />directed by the City to CM!. <br /> <br />.
