<br />e <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />N, Any medical waste, except as specifically authorized by the Director in a <br />wastewater discharge permit. <br /> <br />0, Any wastewater causing the treatment plant's effluent to fail a toxicity <br />test. <br /> <br />p, Any wastes containing detergents, surface active agents, or other <br />substances which may cause excessive foaming in the POTW, <br /> <br />Q, Any discharge of fat, oils, or greases of animal origin is limited to <br />200mgll. <br /> <br />R. No person shall discharge into the public sewer any of the following <br />materials unless limits have been established by the approving authority <br />and included in the industrial user's permit: <br /> <br />Antimony <br />Beryllium <br />Bismuth <br />Boron <br />Fungicides <br />Gasoline <br />Herbicides <br /> <br />Molybdenum <br />Naphtha <br />Insecticides <br />Tellurium <br />Tin <br />Uranyl ion <br />Radioactive Elements <br /> <br />Waste prohibited by this section shall not be processed or stored in a manner that they <br />could be discharged to the POTW. All floor drains located in process or materials <br />storage areas must be discharge to the industrial user's pretreatment facility before <br />connecting with the POTW, <br /> <br />2,2 Federal Categorical Pretreatment Standards <br /> <br />The national categorical pretreatment standards found in 40 CFR Chapter I, <br />Subchapter N, Parts 405-471 are hereby incorporated. <br /> <br />2.3 Local Limits <br /> <br />(a) Pursuant to 40 CFR 403.8, each POTW shall develop and enforce specific <br />limits to implement the prohibitions listed in subsection 2,3 (c), The local limits <br />in this section are based on the uniform concentration method, These local limits <br />shall continue to be reevaluated and developed at least once every three years and <br />the City will effectively enforce such limits, <br /> <br />(b) The specific limits on pollutants developed by the City shall apply at the final <br />discharge point of the Industrial User prior to discharging into the city's sanitary <br />sewer system, <br /> <br />(c) Specific Limitations <br /> <br />12 <br />
