Future growth forecasts by sector; <br />· Typical population profile, based on sex, age, ethnicity, income and <br />education, (based on Year 2000 Census data if available); <br />· Key population needs based on demographics; and <br />· Regional economic characteristics fr.om most recently available <br />information provided by the City of La Porte. <br /> <br />Illustrate population by planning sector. <br /> <br />Product - Illustration of population by major sector; existing population in table <br />format and in plan format; population characteristics from most recently <br />available information; future population projections. <br /> <br />Items provided by City of La Porte - Provide population information in digital <br />form, including existing population by sector, population projections by sector, <br />demographic characteristic~, and year 2000 Census data in digital form. <br /> <br />1.5 COLLECT DATA ON LEAGUES, ASSOCIATIONS, AND CITY-RUN <br />PROGRAMS <br /> <br />· Number of teams, and number al1d type of facility used by each team; <br />· Types of programs offered by City, and number of attendees at each; <br />· Conduct interviews with key City staff and community leaders, volunteer <br />groups, league and association leaders. <br /> <br />Product - Written summary of interviews with key leagues and associations, <br />summary of programs. <br />Items Provided by Leagues (through City of La Porte staff)- league program <br />data, including number of teams, numbers of participants, breakdown by age <br />and sex (where applicable), city program participation records for past five <br />years, other non-city program data (Le.
