Map illustrating key needs by sector. <br /> <br />Items Provided by City of La Porte- - review needs assessment and comment, <br />as appropriate. <br /> <br />PHASE II RECOVERY ACTION PLAN/PARKS AND <br />RECREATION MASTER PLAN <br /> <br />2.1 ANALYSIS OF AREAS FOR POTENTIAL PARKS <br /> <br />Evaluate city-owned sites for new parks, as well as sites located in the <br />undeveloped portions of La Porte to determine their s'uitability as future parks. <br /> <br />Develop criteria for new park development. The criteria may include: <br /> <br />· suitability for use as a park or open space; <br />· suitability for facilities which are most critically needed; <br />. potential for linkage with other parks. <br />. natural vegetation and ease of deve!opment; and <br />. potential acquisition and development cost. <br /> <br />Identify general areas with high value as potential future park or natural areas. <br /> <br />.
