Prior to that, his <br />assignment was in Sales and Marketing where he had regional responsibility managing 7 <br />managers and 72 service representatives of the Houston Residential Sales/Service Center. <br />Other assignments during his 2S years with Southwestern Bell have included experience <br />with the Training Division ~d serving as Coordination Manager of the Hams County <br />9-1-1 conversion. <br /> <br />Barry received his Bachelor's degree from Our Lady of the Lake University where he was <br />named to Delta Mu Delta - Business Honor Society. He completed his MBA from Our <br />Lady of the Lake University. in 1994, with an emphasis in International Business. Barry <br />is a graduate ofthc leadership development programs; Leadership La Porte and <br />Leadership Pasadena. <br /> <br />Mr. Beasley represents Southwestern Bell with several organizations including eight <br />Chambers of Commerce and three Economic Development Councils. He is Past- <br />Chainnan of the LaPorte - Bayshore Chamber of Commerce; Past-Chairman of the <br />Harris County Southeast Economic Development Council (SEED) and Past-Chairman of <br />the Board of the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Beasley served as a board <br />member of the Deer Park, Clear Lake and Pasadena Chambers of Commerce, is Vice- <br />Chainnan of the Gulf Coast Workforce Development board, is on the Board of Regents <br />for the Texas Chiropractic College, and Advisory Board ofUHCL. Barry served as the <br />chairman in La Porte's successful effort to pass the 4-B economic development sales tax. <br /> <br />Barry lives with his wife Terri and their four children in La Porte, Texas. He is a member <br />of the Pasadena Rotary club and the First United Methodist Church of Pasadena.
