Previous work included a 1,275 feet section <br />completed last year for a total amount of $32,867.00 leaving a balance of $343.733.00. This waterline project <br />consists of installing approximately 6,107 feet of PVC water line pipe, to completely loop all sections of the <br />12 inch main line on Fairmont Parkway. <br /> <br />Design and engineering were performed on this project utilizing City Staff. On November 5. 2001, the City <br />received five bids from qualified contractors.' Borco of Texas., Inc. of Houston, Texas submitted the lowest <br />bid in the amount of $ 172.685.60. Contract time for completion shall be 60 consecutive calendar days after <br />ccNotice to Proceed" is issued., . <br /> <br />Staff has reviewed the bid as submitted and determined that it is a reasonable amount and ~orco of Texas., <br />Inc. is qualified to perform this work.
