That the Bonds of said City, to be called "CITY OF LAPORTE STREET IMPROVEMENT BONDS" be issued for the purpose of the con- I struction and improvement of the roads, bridges and streets of such city, within its. limits, as authorized by the'Constitution and Laws of the State of Texas, including Chapters 1 and 7, Title 22, Revised Civil statutes of 1925. Said bonds shall be numbered from 1 to 5 inclusive, shall be of the denomination of $1000 each, aggregating $5,000.
