" the ordinance finally pass~ Thereupon the Mayor declared The ordinance follows: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAPORTE, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $70,000 SEWER BONDS, $15,000 WATERWORKS BONDS, $10,000 CITY HALL AND FIRE STATION BONDS, AND '5~000 STREET IM- PROVEMENT..BONDS; PRESCRIBING THE FORM OF SAID BONDS, PROVIDING FOR THE LEVY, ASSESSMENT AND COLLECTION OF TAXES ON ALL THE TAXABLE PROPERTY WITHIN THE LIMITS OF SAID CITY TO PAY THE INTEREST ON ALL OF SAID BONDS AND CREATE A SINKING FUND WITH WHICH TO PAY THE PRIN- C IP AL AS IT MATURES; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. II ~ _J" IT APPEARING AFFIRMATIVELY that at an election held 1n the City of LaPorte on the 2nd day of December, 1929, a majority of the qualified property tax-paying voters of the City of LaPorte voting at said election sustained the propositions authorizing the City Council of the City of LaPorte to issue the $70,000 Sewer Bonds, $15,000 'Waterworks Bonds, $10,000 City Hall and Fire Station Bonds, and $5,000 Street Improvement Eonds, all hereinafter more fully described; I I .J J , I j J "" .~
