<br />e e <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. :-',:1: 0 <br /> <br />AN ORDnlANCE PRESCRIBING THE RATE AND DEPOSIT FEES AND conNECTION CHARGES <br /> <br />TO BE CHARGED FOR NATURAL GAS TO DOMESTIC CONSIDliERS BY ALL PERSONS~ FmMS, COR- <br /> <br />PORATIONS OR RECEIVF.RS FURIUSHING OR SELLING l~ATURAL GAS V'IITHIN THE CITY LDUTS <br /> <br />OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS; AND DECLARDm AN Em:HGENCY. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE.' <br /> <br />Seotion I. All persons, firms, oorporations or reoeivers furnishing or <br /> <br />selling natural gas to domestic cOllsumera within the oity lindts of the city <br /> <br />of La Porte, Harris County, Texas, shall charge such danestic consumers for <br /> <br />domestic gas consumed the following rate for gas oonsumed, and the follollii.ng <br /> <br />deposit fee for meter and re-conneotion charge, and no more. <br /> <br />Seven and olle-half cents (7~t) per 100 oubic feet of natural gas <br />aotually consumed; provided, h owe ve 10 , t.hat a disoount of one oent (It) per 100 <br />cubic feet of natural gas so consumed shall be allowed eaoh oustorn.er who pays <br />for said gas so oonsumed within ten days ai'ter the mailing by Campa~ of a <br />statement showing correctly the amount of gas oonsumed, whioh sta.tement shall <br />be properly addressed to the consumer at the address within the City of 1.4 Porte <br />where said oonsumer' s meter 10 looRted. To eaoh monthly bill for gas so sent <br />out by Comp~, there shall be added the sum of Fifty. Cents (50t> as a "ready <br />to serve" charge. Five Dollars (05.00) init.ial .deposit fee for nleter. No feo <br />shall be oharged for conneotion provided, hm~ver~ where service has been dis- <br />oontinued'on account of non-pa~nent of bill #1.00 fee for re-conneotion may be <br />oharged. <br /> <br />Seotion 2.
