<br />VlHEREAS, at an election held in the City of La Porte"
<br />Texas, on the 7th day of November, 1925, a majority of the
<br />qualified voters who are property tax payers in the City of
<br />La Porte, Texas, voting at said election, sustained the propo-
<br />sition to issue the bonds hereinafter described for the prin-
<br />cipal sum of ~~30,000.00 by a vote of / / () affirmative votes to
<br />/~ negative votes, and no mutilated ballots, making a
<br />majority in favor of issuing said bonds and levying said tax.

<br />TID~REFORE, BE IT ORDAIm~D by the City Council of
<br />the City of La Porte, Texas:

<br />section 1.
<br />
<br />That the bonds of said City to be called "CITY OF
<br />LA PORTE WATERWORKS BONDS" be issued under and by virtue of the
<br />Constitution and laws of the State of Texas, including Chapter 9,
<br />of the General Laws enacted by the Thirty-seventh Legislature at
<br />its regular session in 1921 and Chapters 1 and 7, Title 22,
<br />Revised Statutes of 1925.

<br />Section 20
<br />
<br />That said bonds shall be ntunbered consecutively from
<br />1 to 30 inclusive, sha.ll be of the denomination of ~~1,000.00
<br />,each, aggregat~ng ~~30,000.00.

<br />Section 3.
<br />
<br />That they shall be dated November 10, 1925, and
<br />shall become due and payable serially in thei1~ numer ical order
