<br />Therefore, be it ordain~d by the City Council of the

<br />City of LaPorte, Texas, as follows:

<br />SECTION I
<br />
<br />That the bonds of said City, to be called "CITY OF LAPORTE
<br />
<br />FlElfUNDING BONDS" be issued for the ~)urpose of refund:l.ng the
<br />
<br />following described $25,000 warrant indebtedness, coneisti~g of
<br />
<br />valid and legally binding obligations against said City of
<br />
<br />1.aporte in th':! amount of $25,000, evidenc!~d by r"egul arly t ssucd
<br />
<br />warrants, mere particularly described as follows, to-wit:

<br />$25,000 CITY OF LAPORTF. FUNDING WARRANTS dated March 10, 1929,
<br />bearing interest at the rate of 6( per annum.
<br />
<br />Said bond::! shall be numbered from 1 to 25 inclusive, shall
<br />
<br />be in the denomination of $1000 each, aggregating $25,000.
<br />They shall be dated the lOth day of December, 1929, and shall
<br />become due and payable serially in their numerical order as
<br />follows:
