Be it ordained by the city council of the city of La Porte, Texas; There is hereby levied and Shall be assessed' and collected for the yea,r 1932... on all taxable property of the city of 1a Porte, Texas on the first day of ;J'anuary 193~ ~n .Advalorum of and at the rate of One and 50/100 Dollars on the $100 00 valuation of all taxable prpperty in the said city, estimated in lawful currency of the United States, to be divided' as follows. , ~ For the 'purpose of paying the interest and prin- cip-al on warrants issued by the city of .La Porte ror certain ,street paving. For the purpose of'paying the interest and principal on bondS issued by the city of 1a Porte for a waterworks system. For the purpose of paying the interest and principal on $21 000 00 funded indebte,dness 0 For the .' purpose of paying the interest and princip~l on a $100 000 , '; :(bond i~sue for the construction of a sanitary sewer system .' $70 000. Erecting a City Hall anf Fire Station $10 00. Extending the preent waterworks system $15 000 and pavil~ certain streets $5 000 00. For the purpose of paying the interist and principal on $960 bo Funded indebtedness. For the purpose of paying the interest and peincipal on a $2 374 31 funded indebtedness. For the purpose of paying the intere~t and principal 011 an issue of ~~9 225 ?9 sewer warrants. I Therefore; there is 'hereby levied a tax of five cents (.05) on the $100 00 valuation for the/year 1933 to take care of the interest and sinking fund fo;, certain warrants heretofore issued for street paving ~n the city of l.a Porte. I I , I There is hereby levied a tax of;thirteen cents (.13) on the $100 00 valuation for the year 1933 to take care of the interest and sinking fund for a,$~l 000 funded indebtedness. ) ,: There is hereby levied a tax of twenty cents . (.20) on the ~100 00 valuation to take care of the interest and principal eft ~or the year 1933 on a thirty thousand $30 pOO bond issue for the installation of a waterworks systeil 8 There is hereby levied a tax of sixty cents (.60) on the $100 00 valuation to take care of the interest and principal for the year 1933 on a ~e hundred dollar ($100 000 00 bond issue for the year 1933 for the purpose of installing a sanitary sewer system $70 000. Erecting a city hall and fire statmon $10 000. extending the present water system $15 000 and paving certain streets ~5 000 00 in the city of La Porte. . , There is hereby levied a tax of four and one half cents (.04!) on the $100 00 valuation for the year 1933 ~o take care of the interest and principal on an issue of nine hundred and sixty dollars ($960 UO) funding warrants in settlement of excess cost on the city hall and fire sta- tion. ..
