e oe \ RESOLUTION e wHEREAS, the City of La Porte has heretofore passed and approved Ordinance No. 261, regulating traffic upon the pUblic I streets of the City of La Porte; and h~EREAS, such Ordinance provides that the City Council shall, by resolution, determine and designate the character of all official traffic Signs and signals and shall designate the locatio where the same shall be installed; - NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL THAT: the standing or parking of any vehicle is prohibited within the , space on the East side of South Second Street from the intersectio of West Main street and South Second Street, a distance of Thirty- Two (32) feet South of such intersection, and that such space be :, reserved for officers, and further that the Police Comrni ttee is hereby authorized and instructed to properly mark and sign said place as a "no parking zone"; I I Traffic moving over and along South A Street, from eithe e i ! direction, shall stop before entering the nearest crosswalk at the I intersection of such Street with South Second street; I Traf'l'ic moving over and along South A Street, in an : Easterly direction shall stop before entering the West crosswalk at the intersection of such Street with South Broadway Street; Traffic moving in a Northerly direction over and along I South First Street shall stop before entering the South crosswalk I ot the intersection of' such Street with West Main Street; I I Traffic moving in a Northerly direction over and along I, South Third ~3treet shall stop before enterine; the South crosswalk I lof the intersection of such street with West Main Street; The Police Committee is hereby authorized and instructed to properly mark and sign, with "stop" signs, the hereinabove men- I 'I :tioned intersections at the proper places. iI AND IT I S SO ORDERED. e , I I, i 'I t
