The C~ty Seoretary of 'the Ci'ty ot La Porte shall hereafter be Ex-otticio Clerk of the Corpora'tion Court and he shall keep minutes ot the e prooeedings of said Court, issue all prooess and generally pertorm. all the dutt'es of the Clerk of a Court as presoribed by law for a County Clerk, in so tar as 'the same may be applicable, provided 'that the Mayor and Ex-otfioio Reoorder shall per- torm. the duties of the Cler~ in the absence of such Clerk. Section 5.
