BE IT OJIDATInID BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA POR E, TEXAS: '. - e Section 1. There is hereby levied and shall be assessed and collected for the year 1943, on all the taxable property in th City of La Forte, Texas, on the 1st day of January of the year 194 , an ad valorem tax of, and at the rate of, One and 50/100 Dollars ($1.50) on each One Hundred Dollar ($100.00) valuation of taxable property in said City, estimated in lawful currency of the United States, far the purpose of paying the interest on, and a sinkine fund for the redemption of, One Hundred Forty-Eight Thousand Dol- lar (e148,000.00) "City of La Porte Refunding Bonds, Series 1935", Eleven Thousand Five Hundred Dollar (~11,500.00) "City of LaPorte I Sewer Funding Bonds, Series 1938", Fifteen Thousand Dollar ($15,000.00)"City of La Porte Sewer Improvement Warrants, Series 1943", and for paying current expenses of said City, and levied I as follows, to-wit: ;1 I (a) There is hereby levied a tax of One Dollar ($1.00) I on each One Hundred Dollar ($100.00) valuation of taxable property in the Ci ty l)f La Porte, for the year 1943, for the purpose of pay ine the current interest on, and to provide the necessary sinking fUnd for, the One Hundred Forty-Eight Thousand Dollar (C148,000.00' "City of La 70rte Refunding Bonds" issued in the year 1935, and th , same shall be assessed and collected and applied to the purpose - named. (b) There is hereby levied a tax at Ten Cents (10~) on each One Hundred Dollar (~100.00) valuation of taxable property in the City of r,a Porte for the year 1943, for the purpose of paying.
