WHEREAS, the closin8 of that portion of !<'irst Avenu.e be- tween Block Two Hundred Nineteen (219) and Block Two Hundred Twenty (220), and lying between the South boundary line of South B Street and the North boundary line of South C street, in the City of La Porte, in Harris County, Texas, was approved by a majority of the votes cast at a special election held April 1, 1947, NOW, THEHEl"OI1E, BE 1'.11 ORDAINED BY TIlE BOARD 017 COMMIS::HORERS ) OF' THE C r.11Y OF LA POnrrE, TEXAS, THA.T: That portion of First Avenlle between Block Two Hundred Nineteen (219) and Block Two Hundred Twenty (220) and lying be- tween the South boundary line of South B Street and the North boundary line of South C Street, in the City of La Porte, in Harris County, 'l'exas, be and the same is hereby closed; and that such portion of First Avenue shall not hereafter be used or main- tained by the City as a public street.
