Hereafter, the Superintendent of Public <br /> <br />Works for the Oity of La Porte shall perform all of the duties of <br /> <br />the office of Building Inspector as required by the Ordinances of <br />said City; he shall have the authority and power to make all in- <br />spections including the inspection of buildings, the inspection 0 <br /> <br />electrical work, water and sewer installations. <br /> <br />,- <br /> <br />Section 2. All Ordinances and resolutions and parts of <br />Ordinances and/or resolutions heretofore passed, which. are in con <br /> <br />fliet herewith, are hereby repealed by this Ordinance. <br />Section 3. If any section or part of a section, or one <br /> <br />or more sections of this Ordinance be declared to be invalid, suc <br /> <br />?' <br />shall not affect the validity of the remaining parts he~eof. <br />Section 4.
