e e I WHERE~3, heretofore, the Mayor of the City of La Porte I i prepared and submitted to the Board of Commissioners, at. its meet- I , i ing held on November la, 194r7, his proposed budget for the fiscal year, July 1, 1947 to June 30, 1948; and, WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners filed SUCll proposed budget with the Clerk of the City on the '12th day of November, 1947, and designated that a public hearing on such budget be held at the City Hall at 8:00 P. M. on December 1, 1947, and caused pnblic notice of such hearing to be made; and, WHEREAS, such puhlic hearing has been. held, it is there- fore, ordered by the Hoard of Commissioners 'l;hat the budget, a.s prepared and submitted by the Mayor, is hereby finally approved by the Board of Commissioners and it is hereby ordered that a true copy of such approved budget, together with a copy 0f this order, shall be filed in each of the offices of the Clerk of the City of ,I ; La Porte, the Countu Clerk of Harris County, Texas, and the State Comptroller at Austin, Texas.
