That the Mayor to be elected at the general <br />election to be held in April, 1948, shall receive as his compensa- <br />tion during his term of office, the sum of Twelve Hundred Dollars <br />{$1,200.00} per year, to be paid in monthly installments in the su <br />ot One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) each. <br />Section 2. That the two Commissioners to be elected <br /> <br />at the general election to be held in April, 1948, shall each re- <br />ceive as his compensation during his term of office, the sum ot <br />Six Hundred Dollars ($600.00) per year, to be paid in monthly in- <br />stallments in the sum of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) each. <br />Section 3. That all the co~pensation provided for in <br />this Ordinance shall be paid to the proper persons, by warrant <br />drawn on the general funds of the City of La Porte, on or after <br />the 1st day of each month following that for which such compensa- <br />tion may be due. <br />Section 4. That all Ordinances and resolutions and <br />.< parts of Ordinances and/or resolutions' heretofore passed, which <br />are in conflict herewith, are hereby repealed by this Ordinance. <br />'-""" ~ection 5.
