Muldoon , City Clerk, present, and the follo"i-Ting absent: None , constituting a quorum, when, among other proceedings had, were the following: Commissioner Stewart introduced a resolution and moved its adoption. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Crato The motion carrying with it the adoption of the resolution prevailed by the following vote: .' AYES: Co~nissioners Stewart , Crate NOES: NONE. The resolution is as follows: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY TREASURER TO ISSUE A CHECK TO ERNEST L. BROWN, JR., IN PAYMENT OF CONTRACT. WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of La Porte, ,,\ \R Texas, has heretofore entered into a contract with Ernest L. ~-- Brown, Jr., of Houston, Texas, in connection with the issuance by said City of La Porte of its Waterworks and Sewer System Revenue Bonds, Series 1948; and WHEREAS, said Ernest L. Brown, Jr., has carried out all of the terms of said contract and is now entitled to the payment of his fee under said contract; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF IA PORTE, TEXAS:
