That for the purpose of providing a budget forthe fiscal year be- <br />ginning July 1, 1953 and ending June 30, 1954, the sum set forlh below be, and the <br />same are h ereby' appropriated for the maintenance, operation and improvements of the <br />goveJ:n lII:mt of the City of La Porte, and the same shall be strictly applied for the <br /> <br />seVel"al purposes and in the respective amounts heJ:'einafter specified. <br />Section 2.
