OF A <br />9 <br />., City of La Porte Planning and Development Department <br />v m Established 1892 Tim Tietiens, Director <br />tr�u� <br />April 21, 2016 <br />Honorable Mayor Rigby and City Council <br />City of La Porte <br />RE: Proposed Amendments to the city's Development Ordinance (Ordinance No. 1444) <br />Dear Mayor Rigby and City Council: <br />The La Porte Planning and Zoning Commission held a public hearing at the March 17, 2016 <br />meeting to consider a recommendation of approval on proposed modifications to Ordinance No. <br />1444, more commonly known as the City of La Porte Development Ordinance. The Development <br />Ordinance was originally adopted on June 10, 1985, and has been the subject of numerous <br />amendments and revisions. The Development Ordinance includes provisions both regulating and <br />establishing a review process for subdivisions, site plans and other development -related <br />requirements.
