I <br /> <br />Article II, Section 12, of the Home Rule Charter of the City <br /> <br />of La Porte, Texas, as amendedl shall be amended so that the same <br /> <br />shall hereafter read as follows: <br /> <br />I <br />The members of the City Commission of the City of La Porte shall I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />(2) Commissioners elected at the regular election for City Offi- I <br />I <br />, <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />After the regular City Election to be held on the fourth Tues-I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />Mayor and four (4) Commissioners, and thereafter a Mayor and two I <br />I <br /> <br />(2) Commissioners shall be elected on the fourth Tuesday in APrilj <br /> <br />1962, and the other two (2) Commissioners shall be elected on the I <br /> <br />hSection 12. <br /> <br />City Commission, Number, Selection, Term: <br /> <br />hold their offices for a term of two (2) years, except that two <br /> <br />cers to be held on April 26, 1960, shall hold their offices for <br /> <br />the term of one (1) year as hereinafter provided, and until <br /> <br />their successors have been elected and duly qualified. <br /> <br />day in April, 1960, the City Commission shall be composed of a <br /> <br />fourth Tuesday in April, 1961, and thereafter a Mayor and two <br /> <br />Commissioners shall be elected on the fourth Tuesday in April of <br /> <br />I <br />1 <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />~ <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />~ <br />I <br />\ <br />~ <br />II <br />~ <br /> <br />each even numbered year and two Commissioners shall be elected <br /> <br />on the fourth Tuesday in April of each odd-numbered year.
