e e . ORDINANCE NO. t I J AN ORDINANCE l~KING APPROPRIATIONS FOR SUPPORT OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 1960, AND ENDING JUNE 30, ~961. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CO~~1ISSION OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS: Section 1. That for the purposes of providing a budget for the fiscal year beginning JRy 1, 1960, and ending June 30, 1961, the sums set forth below be, and the same are hereby, appropriated for the maintenance, operation and improvement of the Government of the City of La Porte, and the same shall be strictly applied for the several purposes and in the respective amounts hereinafter spe- cified. . Section 2. That the amounts appropriated and the purposes for which the same shall be spent be as follows: Administrative Department Finance Department Water and Sewer Department Fire Department Police Department Public Works Department Health Department Debt Service Recreation Department $ 26,026.00 14,475.00 64,998.00 27,404.00 37,018.00 44,765.00 29,050.00 137,850.78 8,050.00 $389,636.78 Section 3. That the City Commission may transfer a sum from one (1) item to another item within a fund, except that the Bonded Debt Service Fund shall not be subject to such alteration ~ by the City Commission; and that a sum may be transferred from one (1) fund toanother fund only on the authority of an ordinance passed by the City Commission. Section 4. That this ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage. AND IT IS SO ORDAINED.
