The delinquent customer shall be required <br />to clear the balance of his account, including current charges, on or before <br />the next following lOth ( 60 days from the date the account becomes delinquent) . <br />E. Extra Charges. Failure to clear the account within the time <br />specified ( 60 days from the date of delinquency) and in the absence of other <br />satisfactory arrangements, shall cause a service charge of two dollars ($2. 00) <br />to be added to the balance of the account for expenses incurred in handling. <br />In such cases water services shall be discontinued and shall not be restored <br />until the balance of the account, plus service charge, is paid. There shall be <br />no charge for restoration of water services unless the water meter is removed. <br />In case it becomes necessary to remove the water meter, as determined by <br />the City Water Department, an additional charge of three dollars ($3.00) <br />shall be made for re-installing the meter. <br />F. Deposit Applied to Deling~uent ~ccount. The meter deposit shall <br />be applied to the delinquent account, and when so applied, a new deposit shall <br />be required before water services are restored. <br />G. Other Arrangements. Any arrangement not herein provided for <br />paying the water account must have the unanimous approval of the City Commission <br />and be entered in the minutes of the meeting at which such arrangement is <br />approved. <br /> <br />Section 9. Violations a Misdemeanor. Any act declared unlawful <br />in the specific terms of this ordinance is hereby declared a misdemeanor <br />and each day that such violation is allowed to exist shall be deemed a separate <br />offense. The offender, upon a finding of guilty, shall be punished by a fine <br />of not less than $lO.OO nor more than $200.00 for each day charged. <br /> <br />Section lO.
