ORDINANCE NO. 666 Page 2 0 f 3 . . -- BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of the La Porte Municipal Airport, said point being in the City Limits line of the City of La Porte, THENCE, in an Easterly direction along the North line of the La Porte municipal Airport, said line being the North line of the W. M. Jones Survey, Abstract No. 482, a distance of 500 feet, more or less, to the South- east corner of La Porte Outlot No. 479; THENCE, Northerly along the East line of said Outlot No. 479 to the Northeast corner of La Porte Outlot No. 479, said point being in the South right-of-way line of "H" Street; .. THENCE, Westerly along the North lines of La Porte Outlots No. 479 thru 490, both inclusive, to a point in the West line of Underwood Road; THENCE, Southerly along the West line of Underwood Road to the Southwest corner of La Porte Outlot No. .490, said point being in the North line of the W. M. Jones Survey, Abstract No. 482; THENCE, Easterly along the South line of La Porte Outlots No. 490 thru 480, both inclusive, to the point of beginning. Section 3. The City Commission of the City of La Porte reserves and preserves the rights, powers, duties and effect of any and all prior annexation ordinances heretofore passed, and in no way relinquishes nor relea~es any part or portion of the territory annexed in Ordinances .' numbered 493, 494, 497, 587, 621, 623, 624, 625, 628, 634, 635, 637, 647 and 657. Section 4. Should any portion of the territory sought to be annexed herein not be subject to annexation by the City of La Porte, then it is the intention of the City Commission of the City of La Porte to annex only such portion of said areas as may be legally subject to annexation , by the City of La Porte, and the fact that a portion of said area may not be legally annexed by said City shall not affect the validity of the annexation of the remaining portions 'of said territory, it being the intention of the . City Commission to annex all or such portions of the above described area as it may legally annex.
