Should any section of this ordinance conflict with any ordinance heretofore adopted by the City Commission of the City of La Porte, the terms and provisions of this ordinance shall prevail and such conflicting portions of the prior ordinance is hereby repealed. Section 7. This ordinance shall become effective and be in force from and after its passage, approval and publication, as required by law. Passed and approved this the 20th. day of May' I 1963. '.
