<br />. <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />'e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />. . . . <br />. e <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />688 <br /> <br />An Ordinance authorizing the Sale and Conveyance of <br />Lots One (I) through Twenty-eight (28) Block 4, Bayfront <br />Addition to the City of La Porte to William A. Stabs, Sr. <br />Whereas, the City of La Porte owns Lots One (1) through <br />Twenty-eight (28) in Block 4 of Bayfront Addition to the Town of <br />La Porte; and, <br />Whereas, the City of La Porte has offered said property <br />for sale to the highest responsible bidder; and, <br />Whereas, the City of La Porte has in all things complied <br />with the Charter of said City in advertising and notices required <br />thereby; and, <br />Whereas, William A. Stabs, Sr., was the highest <br />bidder and the Commission considers him to be a responsible <br />person; and <br />Whereas, William A. Stabs, Sr., is relying on the <br />City of La Porte to furnish good and marketable title to said <br />property and the City desires to protect him in ownership. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COM:NllSSION of THE CITY <br />OF LA PORTE: <br /> <br />I <br />The City of La Porte shall accept the offer of Mr. <br />William A. StabsJ Sr. J and shall issue its General Warranty <br />Deed containing the following wording, to-wit: <br />
