<br />e <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />5.09 PARK, PLAYGROUND AND SCHOOL SITES. <br />1. Parks and P1ay~rounds: <br />(a) Park and playground sites shall be reserved as <br />indicated on the Park Plan. Size shall be in accor- <br />dance with the Planning Commission's Plan for the <br />_ Park System. After- approval of the preliminary <br />plat and before submission of the final plat the City <br />shall negotiate contract to purchase the park area. <br />If the City does not do so, the developer may, at his <br />option, subdivide the area for lots or hold it for City <br />purchase in the future. <br />(b) Park sites within the city limits will be purchased at <br />the developer's acreage cost plus a prorated cost for <br />improvements. <br />(c) It is requested, but not required, that park sites out- <br />side the City be reserved for two years for purchase <br />at the developer's cost plus prorated cost of im- <br />provements. <br />2. School Sites: Location and size to be in accordance'with <br />the requirements of the school district. <br />SECTION 6. SURVEY REQUIREMENTS. <br />6.01 Monuments, consisting of 3/4 inch iron.pipe or larger, 36 <br />inches in length, shall be placed at all corners of the block <br />lines, the point of intersection of curves and tangents of the <br />subdivision, and sunk 6 inches below the finish. <br />6.02 One bench mark for each five acres of property or fraction <br />thereof shall be permanently installed in an approved manner, <br />with their location and the elevation shown on the plat.
