<br />. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />11. 04 WATER AND SEWER SYSTEM. <br />The developer will be required to submit a certifica te to the <br />City Engineer, certifying that the systems have been designed <br />in accordance with the requirements of,the State Health De- <br />partment, the Texas Board of Insurance Commissioners, and <br />existing laws. <br />The developer of the subdivision shall provide all water and <br />sewer lines necessary to properly serve the subdivision. <br />1. Sewer Lines: <br />(a) Location: Where the location of the sewer is not <br />clearly defined by dimensions on the drawings, the <br />sewer shall not be closer horizontally than ten (19) <br />feet to a water supply main or service line. Gravity <br />sewer lines passing over water lines shall be cons- <br />tructed for a distance of ten (10) feet each side of <br />the crossing with cast iron or asbestos -cement <br />pipe with no joints within three (3) feet of crossing. <br />(b) Materials: Sewer lines may be of the following <br />materials: <br />(1) Vitrified clay pipe PVC joints and fittings con- <br />forming to ASTM C - 261- 60T, Cia ss II (Standard <br />Strength). Extra strength where required by <br />City Engineer. <br />(2) Concrete pipe and fittings with rubber gasket <br />joints, conforming to ASTM C-14 (non -reinforced, <br />standard strength). Extra strength where re- <br />quired by City Engineer. <br />(c) Construction: Sewers shall be constructed accor- <br />ding to City Engineer's specifications as to <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />It <br /> <br />\.29 <br />
