<br />[.' <br /> <br />'. <br /> <br />.'. <br /> <br />... <br />, -' <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />--- <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 709-A <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ORDINANCE CALLING THE REGUIAR ANNUAL <br />ELECTION OF THE CITY,OF IA PORTE TEXAS: PROVIDING FOR ABSENTEE <br />VOTING USING, VOTING MACHINES: PROVIDING FOR THE PIACE OF ABSEN- <br />TEE VOTING: AND ARB OINTING ABSENTEE VOTING ELECTION OFFICIALS. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY, COMMISSION .oF THE CITY OF IA PORTE, <br />TEXAS, THAT: <br /> <br />Section 1. Ordinance 709 of the City of La Porte is <br /> <br />hereby amended by adding 1hereto the following sections: <br /> <br />Section 3a. Absentee voting shall be conducted from <br /> <br />the 20th day preceding through the 4th day preceding said regu- <br /> <br />lar election, ,and said absentee voting shall be conducted at the <br /> <br />same place as provided in Section 2 hereof. Voting machines <br /> <br />shall be used for the casting of absentee votes at such election: <br /> <br />and the following named persons are hereby appointed election <br /> <br />officers to conduct the absentee voting at said place: <br /> <br />RUTH HUDDLESTON <br /> <br />, Clerk <br /> <br />MILDRED RUNNELS <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br />MARILYN. KELLEY <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br />Section 8a.
