<br />. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />.F' <br />...... <br />W' <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />'7'J ~ <br /> <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE DECLARING IT UNLAWFUL FOR ANY PERSON OR <br />OWNER TO LEAVE STANDING ANY VEHICLE IN ANY STREET, ALLEY <br />OR PUBLIC PLACE LONGER THAN TWENTY-FOUR HOURS; ON PRIVATE <br />PROPERTY WITHOUT THE CONSENT OF THE OWNER FOR ANY PERIOD <br />OF TIME; DECLARING IT UNLAWFUL TO LEAVE STANDING IN THE <br />PUBLIC STREETS ANY TRAILER, SEMI-TRAILER, POLE TRAILER OR <br />HOUSE TRAILER, ATTACHED OR UNATTACHED TO A MOTOR VEHICLE, <br />LONGER THAN TWO HOURS; DECLARING THE OWNER AND OPERATOR <br />RESPONSIBLE FOR ILLEGAL PARKING; ESTABLISHING A PRESUMPTION <br />OF PARKING BY OWNER WHEN VEHICLE ILLEGALLY PARKED; PROVIDING <br />THAT ANY PERSON VIOLATING THE TERMS OF THIS ORDINANCE SHALL <br />BE FINED IN ANY SUM NOT LESS THAN FIFTEEN DOLLARS ($15.00) <br />NOR MORE THAN TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS ($200.00) AND EACH DAY OF <br />VIOLATION SHALL BE DEEMED A SEPARATE OFFENSE; PROVIDING A <br />REPEALING AND A SAVING CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. -~ <br /> <br />'~. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person or any <br />owner to knowingly leave ~tanding in any public street, alley or <br />other public place i'n the City of La Porte, an:y vehicle for a <br />longer continuous period of time than twenty-four (24) hours. <br />Section 2~ It shall be unlawful for any person or <br /> <br />, '. <br /> <br />any owner to knowingly abandon or leave standing on private <br />property, without the consent of the owner of such private property, <br />any vehicle for any period of time. <br />Section 3. It shall be unlawful for any person to <br /> <br />~ leave, stand or park a trailer, semi-trailer, pole trailer, or <br />... <br />house trailer, either attached or unattached to a motor vehicle, <br />on the public streets of the City of La Porte, for a period of <br />time in excess of twp (2() hours. <br />Section 4..
